Community Water Filtration Project

Households in these three inland villages currently boil river water over wood fires to make it safe to drink — costly, time-consuming, and hard on the local tree cover. This project installs shared gravity-fed filtration units at central points in each village, plus training for a local caretaker team to maintain them, giving roughly 500 residents access to clean water at the turn of a tap.
